REPORT OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE GORHAM TOWN COUNCIL
April 26, 2006 - 4:30 p.m.
Chairman Phinney opened the meeting at 4:30 pm.
Present: Chairman Phinney; Councilors Dugas, Justice, Willett, Loveitt, Robinson, & Hamblen, and Town Manager, David Cole.
Item #7258 Moved by Councilor Loveitt, seconded by Councilor Willett and ORDERED that the Town Council of the Town of Gorham, Maine, in Town Council assembled authorize blanket approval to the Special Olympics of Maine for games of chance for 2006, and
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED that a letter be sent to the Chief of the State Police so notifying him of the Council action. 6 yeas, 1 nay (Hamblen).
Item #7259 Moved by Councilor Loveitt, seconded by Councilor Willett and ORDERED that the Town Council of the Town of Gorham, Maine, in Town Council assembled go into executive session pursuant to Title 1, M.R.S.A., Section 405 (6)(A) to deliberate a personnel matter. 7 yeas.
Councilor Robinson left at 5:15 pm.
Moved by Councilor Loveitt, seconded by Councilor Dugas and VOTED to come out of executive session. 6 yeas.
Moved by Councilor Justice, seconded by Councilor Loveitt and VOTED to adjourn to a workshop at 5:40 pm. 6 yeas.
